What matters most is inside.
We’ll tell you about what an ordinary client cannot always see—namely, the quality and sustainability of the materials used to make the piece for your home.

We do not simply make furniture; we create bespoke interior pieces to our clients’ designs, using certified, sustainable materials that fully reflect their ideas and philosophy.

For casegoods and upholstered furniture, we use softwood sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.
This is important to us because we support the global Forest Stewardship Council strategy: for every tree felled, the Forest Stewardship Council plants two new ones.
For upholstered furniture specifically, we choose top-grade FC plywood.

For bonding wooden and plywood frame components, we use Kleiberit adhesive (Germany);
for bonding the frame to latex polyurethane foam, we use Sefox adhesive (Turkey),
as it is safe for human health and the environment.

We tailor every specification of the finished piece to each individual client.
That is why, for enhanced comfort, we use latex polyurethane foam with varying degrees of firmness and softness—HR3018, HR3535, HR5535, EL2504, HL2860, HS2012, HS3530 and others.

For casegoods, we use board materials from European manufacturers—Egger, Saviola, Cleaf, Kaindl and others. Our paints and lacquers come from leading global manufacturers, including Adler, Sayerlack, LTL and others.

For casegoods, we use Austrian-made Blum hardware and German-made Hettich and Hafele hardware. For upholstered furniture, we use Stalmot.

We use upholstery fabrics from European and Turkish manufacturers, selected for their outstanding abrasion resistance and treated with special flame-retardant and water-repellent finishes to ensure our clients’ reliability, comfort and safety.

For a truly comfortable and safe atmosphere at home, it is important that the materials inside the furniture are natural and certified.
One could talk about sustainability endlessly; what matters most is being able to substantiate those words. That is why MK Furniture Atelier provides each client, upon request, with approved certificates of conformity.
